Mr. Marsalis will show how New Orleans jazz encompasses cultures and styles from Africa, Spain, France and the Caribbean.
He’ll. also discuss some of the influential jazz musicians from his ḥome ‘town, ‘like Jelly Roll Morton, Buddy Bolden and Louis Armstrong.
