Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will embark on the “Portrait in Seven Shades” U.S. Tour in March 2010. The band will perform selections from the suite as well as a repertoire to include tunes by Count Basie, Mary Lou Williams and others.

Next July, Wynton is going to play in Europe for his Summer Tour 2009 with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO). New dates have been confirmed for Germany, France, Italy, Hungary and Spain. Please, check the complete tour schedule for more info about venues.
Probably, new dates will be added in the next weeks, so please check the tour section frequently, and follow Wynton in real time through is Facebook and Twitter profiles.
In the next days, on April 4, Wynton is also going to play with his quintet at Town Hall in New York City. Check all the info about this concert.

Today, Wynton and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) will start the January 2009 USA tour from Wilmington (from January 15 through January 30). They are going to perform at Kenan Auditorium tonight.
They will also play in Charleston, Virginia Beach, Chapel Hill, Washington, Miami, etc.. Check the complete tour schedule with more info about venues. On January 19, they will perform in Washington on the occasion of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday.

Wynton and his septet arrived today in Marciac to perform at Marciac Jazz Festival 2008. They arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris early in the morning, and then took a new fly towards the south of France. Following you can find the complete schedule of Wynton’s presence in Marciac.

On June 20, 2008, Wynton and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) will start the 2008 USA Summer tour from Ottawa (from June 20 through July 14).
They will also play in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, etc.. Check the complete tour schedule with more info about venues. On July 1, they will also perform in Seattle for the SummerFest 2008. Give a look to the nice anecdotes Mark O’Connor tells about Wynton and his CD on Seattle Symphony Blog. On August 8 and 13, 2008, Wynton will play at Marciac Jazz Festival with his Septet and Quintet.
The first concert will be performed at the Chapiteau by his Septet: Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Roberts (to be confirmed), Reginald Veal, Herlin Riley, Wess Anderson, Wycliffe Gordon and Victor Goines.
The second performance will take place on August 13 and will feature the Quintet: Wynton Marsalis, Dan Nimmer, Carlos Henriquez, Walter Blanding, Ali Jackson, with Richard Galliano. Wynton will also give two Master Classes on August 10 and 15.
