In mid-October, Wynton played at the USA Embassy in Moscow with the Igor Butman Big Band.
Thanks to our friend Liz Kozodoy we can publish some exciting photos from the event.

We’ve just re-digitalized some video-clips from our old web site, and they are now iPod ready.

On July 25, 2003 the Wynton Marsalis Septet performed in Gardone Rivera (on Garda Lake).

The New Yorl City’s September 11th commemoration ceremony officially beginned at 8:40 AM this morning.
At 10:29 AM Wynton performed “Down by the Riverside” and “Just a closer walk with Thee”, after a moment of silence (observance of time of fall of the North Tower).

We just came back from London, and are ready to show you new and exciting photos from Wynton’s concerts at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. (The video clip are also coming soon !)
Wynton played wonderfully (even if he’s still recovering from his laser surgery).
He needs to practice more but his lips are getting better everyday.

He has a lot of things to do…he’s still finishing to write the Vitoria Suite, and he’s writing a new book.
Most of all, in September, he will participate to new fan club activities on our web site. Please, stay tuned.

Thanks to our dear friend Fernando, we received new and exciting photos about Wynton at the concert with Paco de Lucia, and at the presentation of his bronze statue at Parque de la Florida (Vitoria, Spain)

On June 22, Wynton has been honored with the 2006 Drum Major for Justice Award.
The event was organized by the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy and took place in New York, on June 22, at Lotus (409 West 14th Street).
