Wynton Marsalis Quintet Plus Special Guests to Perform at Jazz in Marciac 2010
This summer, on August 1st and 5th Wynton will travel back to Marciac with his quintet and special guests to perform two concerts.
August 1, 2010: Classics of the Hot Club of France
Wynton Marsalis, trumpet; Dan Nimmer, piano; Carlos Henriquez, bass; Ali Jackson, drums; Walter Blanding, reeds; Frank Vignola, guitar; Mark O’Connor, violin.
August 5, 2010: Modern New Orleans Music
Wynton Marsalis, trumpet; Dan Nimmer, piano; Carlos Henriquez, bass; Ali Jackson, drums; Walter Blanding, reeds; Victor Goines, reeds; Chris Crenshaw, trombone.

Dear Marsalis,
Can you play the right hand of this piece on your trumpet at this speed?!?! It will make flight of the bumblebee seem like a walk in the park - this is epic and it’s never been done!
I can play the background/base for you on the Piano.
