New Monette trumpet for Wynton

Master trumpet maker, Dave Monette, came by a few weeks ago to give Wynton a new horn, the PRANA 3 STC Bb. It took him and his team over 250 hours to make and the sound is brilliant. I can’t wait to get out and gig with it!

Beautiful trumpet just like all the other Monette’s you have owned thru the years. I noticed on this Prana 3 that the first valve slide finger ring is gone. Do you feel it is more comfortable without it?

Thanks for all the great music thru the years.

Did he really GIVE him this horn, or did Wynton have to pay for it? ;)

I guess if I could play as well as Wynton, people would be giving me horns too!

Why do Wyntons horns never shine? Can’t he afford lacquer? ;)

I guess maybe we can find his old Monette trumpet on eBay?

The reson Wyntons trumpets do not shine is because he buys them without lacquer. You can order trumpets without lacquer on Dave Monettes Website.
