Listen to “He and She” in full on iLike!

March 23, 2009  - CD

Wynton Marsalis and leading social music discovery service iLike announced that “He and She”, Wynton’s new album of original music and spoken word, is available to listen to today in its entirety, only on iLike. iLike’s 24-hour world exclusive will culminate with the retail release of He and She on March 24, 2009.
He and She, Marsalis’ fifth album for Blue Note, combines spoken word with music from his quintet, tempered with flashes of humor and plenty of swing centered on the relationship between a man and a woman and the elusiveness of romance.
Wynton fans will have an opportunity to post questions and comments about the album on his iLike Artist Page and Wynton will personally respond to a select group of fans. A few lucky fans who submit a question will receive a special gift.

This was a great feature, thanks! The recording came out great. How was the internet Q&A? I listened so late, after 11pm, that I figured it was over. I am hearing Schoolboy and Sassy on the radio (90.1) everyday. I hope they keep it up! Last summer they played That’s All during rush hour, I heard that one almost everyday for a while (then I went to Nola). Wynton should write a tune called Radioboy, like Johnny Cash listening to June Carter on the radio when he was little!

    Me too.
Also, I´ve watched and liked very much two interview clips in beautiful sunny DC day with cherry trees in blossom.
    Best.
