What brass! The two contrasting clips demonstrate various ways to employ the modes. Marcus & Wynton lead the ensemble, inspiring us with new motifs and harmonies, by bringing contemporary elements to the Blues tradition. Dr. Michael White, featured on Majesty of the Blues, often speaks of the connectedness between generations of jazz musicians and the continued regeneration of the art as it is passed on and then transformed.
