Il m'a semblé que c'était le dernier rappel avec notamment un solo de piano atomique de Dan Nimmer. Merci, Dan, c'était un moment exceptionnel... I already had an another disc from Marsalis called "allrise", also recorded with the lincoln symphonic archestra a nd I find it a little bit similar, not african rythms, more caraibean (?), I think, well...Anyway nothing to do with the concert I enjoyed on the 13 august in Marciac, which was only with Marsalis' quintett and the great Galliano (B.Holliday meets Edith Piaf), something more intim, and this is this flair that I would like to find again. That's why I made this desesperated call on the web site :) very nice from you to send me the link. I’m looking at it at the moment and I like it very much. It was such a good idea to let Piaf and Billie Holiday meet each other. All the musicians were so inspired and technicly perfect, very "émouvant". I just wonder now, how I can live further with only a few pictures recorded on my memory. I wish I had the possibility to listen to it or to see it again and again...Have you thought to make a cd or a dvd for people like me, who are lucky to have been there on that magic moment , but who are suffering now because they miss this wonderful drug ?!! :) Sorry for the bad english. we enjoyed very much the concert in Marciac with Winton Marsalis’ quintet and Richard Galliano.
