Video: Preview the Vitoria Suite
Last April 24, 25 & 26, 2008, at Rose Theater, during the “Tap Meets Flamenco” concert, Wynton the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra also performed selections from the Vitoria Suite, which the city of Vitoria (Spain) commissioned Wynton to write. The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz also produced a promotional video and used one song from the Vitoria Suite as background music. Enjoy it…

I’d like to know when Wynton Marsalis & the Orchestra will be playing in Spain. I saw the Flamenco meets Tap performance at Lincoln center and thought he mentioned they would be performing there this summer. Please advise.

Dear Pamela,
this summer Wynton will not play in Europe with JLCO.
He will only play in Marciac with his Quintet and Septet.

thank you marsalis Mr. Wynton Marsalis it would be a wonderful to meet you I never meet some one famous I’m going threw ruff famliy things I was a trumpet player and my famly friends are always saying how good I am I got a trumpet but have to get a new one and so much did I learn just studying how yuo explain music thank you from my heart to you wynton marsalis is the ultimat king of trumpet players he expalins it so good he tought me so much I never thougt I could learn 1 a better trumpet $500 at least for me 2, warm ups more then play arbuns book lessons I practice 3 hours a day my dad realy likes me playing trumpet and mom want to thank all of the marsalis I hope to meet you wynton just to sit down play a litle bit a bunch of pictures a auto graph it would keep me up and play for the rest of my life also a megatone mouth pice high range 3 c and vince bach mouth pice for better sound and learning on you tube a wonderful great job !! thank you I wouldnt be this good just listening to you tube and practicing to what you say and learnd style thanks so many thanks, Glenn
