To actually see, and describe such profound musical genius in action, is hard to form into words. It’s truly amazing and remarkable. Watching Wynton is like reinventing the alphabet again. The combinations you can make with just 26 letters is unimaginable! Thanks for the link.

It was a fantastic hour long show, the dancer was too long for me, he’s good but too much Victor was super as was all the others, I learned on a sax when I was a kid, his performance was outstanding.

I’ll bet the reason why Wynton and his Septet doesn’t come to Dallas,Texas is becuz this area haven’ a clue what he’s all about. I am removed from South Florida a year and a half now and I appreciate his music. First off, this area do not have a jazz radio station of any kind, heck, even Oklahoma City has a jazz station. It’s mostly contemporary, but still, it’s jazz. Thank God for CD’s!

Dear Doron,
the video are encoded with H264 codec, so it’s normal that they play choppy if your computer is quite old and slow.

About the error (not a music file) when opening them from your hard drive, it dipends from a strange Internet Explorer behaviour.
It renames the original .m4v file with .mov when asking to save the file.

Example: loose_duck-desktop.m4v

Replace the .mov with the .m4v extension to save the file correctly.

When I try to play the videos (and not just these videos; but any new ones on the sight), it plays very choppy and quite slow. Thus, I want to download them to play on my computer. But when doing so (the “Save As” right-click thing), after downloading, I try to open and play it, but it says that there’s an error and that it’s “not a music file.”

Do you know what I’m doing wrong?

I love the behind the scenes video, from the spirited rehearsal of “What Have You Done” to Wynton’s subtle playing and precise instruction on “B is for Boussaget.” The Marciac Suite is one of my favorites. Seeing this fine septet perform together must have been a definite highlight of the jazz festival. Thank you Luigi for sharig these clips. Leaves me wanting to see and hear more…..
