Video: Wynton interviewed by Culture Catch
Recently, Wynton was interviewed in the Rose Theater by the staff of Culture Catch.
In the long and interesting video-interview (20 min.) he spoke about the feeling of Jazz music, his life on the road, Art Blakey, his mentors, his approach to play classical music, his favourite records, the relationship with people coming to concerts at JALC, etc…. Enjoy it !

JALC is a great place and every jazz season offers something new! Interesting commentary about the avante-garde: were the composers so cutting edge or basically an off-shoot of the European culture?
