You would have to go back a ways for anything significant. I know Marcus played solos on Marciac Suite as well as Citi Movement. His approach to Gershwin blended the traditional jazz age piano score with contemporary, creative cadenzas and improvisations. Hope he and Wynton will collaborate more often, carving out new pathways- sculpted in both traditional and futuristic designs- for the art of jazz. Great news!
