GREAT!
Any more info on it?.
Will it be Wynton´s compositions?…..may be something related to his late work “Music: Deep Rivers in My Soul”?….
Just in case it will be so…. and though it is for a CD…. will they count on with the amazing sound of Jared G. taping for completing the rhythm section (his shoes are a great and invigorating rhythm asset).
Will Sachal Vasandani record with them?.
Did´nt knew of him till I read his name at this site…then I paid a look to his web (where I listened as well) and sounds very interesting……wish I had the chance of listening how they sounded altogether Wynton´s Quintet and him……What repertoire did they played last time?.

There must be over 50 recordings released, each one offers a different aspect of jazz, traditional to contemporary. Hope Luigi obtains more details on the latest effort soon! Glo.

Wow, I’m amazed by the fact that Wynton is always, always on the working. (Does he ever get a vacation?)
Luigi, do you know if Wynton is involved in any activities marking the 2-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina? Just wondering…

Will it be the same tracks as at Jazz Middelheim 2008?
If not, is there an album with those tracks?

First four songs in Middelheim 08 (after L´s info) are from The Magic Hour. Beauuuutiful one… great compositions by Wynton, and amazingly played and recorded!(also, D.Reeves and B.McFerrin do their parts).
The other two titles in M.08 I couldn´t find them in any of his records till now.First one was sang by B.H., and the second by Isaac Hayes (if I´m right)

The first songs are from the Magic Hour.
A sailboat in the moonlight is a new arrangement made by Wynton for the concert with Richard Galliano in Marciac.
Doin Our Things is a song written by Wynton for the album: From The Plantation to the Penitentiary
