Wynton starts the European Tour 2007 with the JLCO
Wynton is in Europe now for his Summer Tour 2007 with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO). Tonight we will play in Vilnius (Lithuania) and tomorrow he will play in Warsaw (Poland) for the JVC Jazz Festival.
Then they will play in Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Netherlands, Spain, UK and France. The new dates in Spain (Valencia, Madrid, Peñíscola and San Feliu de Guixol) have been confirmed in the latest hours. Please, check the complete tour schedule for more info about venues.

So, what’s up over there? How did the Blue Note festival go? What songs from Big Train are being played?
Live Earth happened in so many cities on the planet and on all 7 of the habitable continents. NBC broadcast a Saturday night 3 hour special of highlights and interviews. They chose to end the broadcast with a rendition of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”. (Their trumpet player got out 4 phrases before he blew a bit off and that was the end of him.) American Jazz and the Trumpet, it’s a global icon.

i was wondering if you were going to play a concert in ireland anytime soon? preferably cork because i would love to see you n its impossible for me to go to the uk.

I saw the great Wynton Marsalis in Vincennes, France in concert at Parc Floral on Saturday, July 28, 2007. I am American writer, living in France, maried to a Frenchman.
