Welcome to my new web site!
In 2002, the Wynton Marsalis fan club was started by my great friend and fellow trumpeter Luigi Beverelli. It was a labor of love. Luigi was just doing his thing. At that time i didn’t even know how to turn a computer on! Now with Luigi’s encouragement I will have much more participation with you through this site.
Since its launch, the fan club has become the source on the web for news and information on me. Read by fans in more than 30 countries, it is now the recognized source for exclusive interviews, detailed album and concert reviews, feature articles, video, podcast and more.
From today, this site will be my only and official web site, and you will always find the latest news, performance reports, setlists, new release information and much more to keep you updated about my music.
Love, Wynton

What a surprise! This is beautifully done and the different areas seem to connect more efficiently.
I look forward to hearing more about the world of jazz music. Best, Glo.

I don’t know what made you change your site. I thought your old site was one of the most creative sites I had ever seen. I will miss it!

Wynton! It’s great to see the new look for the site. I love how much information and footage there is here. And it’s great to see a site done honestly by someone who is not taking advantage of an artist by making a profit off of them without their knowledge. It’s obvious Luigi is simply a true fan who just wants to share his admiration for your music and jazz in general! Keep swinging like crazy! Much love, Bruh!

Thank you, Wynton. I was 12 years old and had just started playing the trumpet when my mom bought me the “Think of One” album (on LP!). Things have never been the same. This website is a great way to keep up with what you’re doing. Thank you, Luigi, as well.

Greetings Wynton,
I love this sleek design for the website. I really like how you have incorporated your logo onto the site. I have noticed that Branford has a logo for his music and site as well. Nice to see you bruhs collaborating on stuff. I really loved the buildings of your old stomping grounds on your website. I hope they some how can be incorporated into this site as well. I have been a fan for over 20 years ( since I was in the 4th grade) and have no plans to stop! Good luck and I look forward to seeing you at Ravinia. If I get backstage again, I won’t let my girlfriend do all the talking

Hi Wynton,
My name is Bev and I’m the program Director and station manager at KBBG-FM in Waterloo, IA. I also host “AM Jazz” under the name “Ebony MoonBeams.”
You’ve created so much music over the years - it’s very hard not to play 2-3 compositions per show.
A few of my favorites are: “Sunflowers,” “Lost in Her Arms,” “When or Where,” “Jig’s Jig,” “Invitation,” “Feeling of Jazz,” and “Love and Broken Hearts” - just to name a few. I took the liberty of renaming “Sunflowers” (”Sirens from Heaven”) for my own personal use.
You’re an excellent teacher. I watch the LCJ on BETJ but it doesn’t air until 3am and oftimes I can’t stay awake. I like what ou said about Picasso about how art whould be timeless and able to be appreciated in any era (pardon my paraphrasing.
The suspenders are workin’
Take Care,
Bev

I know what you mean.
I didn’t like jazz, to me if was as if 5 different radio stations were all playing at the same time. But, when I first heard Wynton play my opinion changed and I have been hooked every since. There is something fresh and clean that makes you feel good when he blows that horn.
