Wynton interviewed by the Boston Herald

The Boston Herald has just published a new interview to Wynton about his new album: From the Plantation to the Penitentiary.
Wynton is in Boston today to play at Symphony Hall with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
This is the last date of the “The Songs We Love” tour. On March 29, 30, 31, Wynton will play the same concert at Rose Theater, in New York City.

    Those Rhapsody in Blues… Wow, I saw a few with different sax soloists. I really love this arrangement. And at the Rose, in November, they played this piece with Marcus Roberts on the piano and a full symphony orchestra, it was beautiful, like sheets of sound. It’s truly a song that I love!
