It happens that I only buy in musicstores, and in my place we still don´t have it. So, thanks for this kind of appetizer (video and music samples included in web).
I like reading lyrics ´cause I can do it slowly (and read more than once, and stop here and there while reading); and so better getting the meaning and the sound of the words. In my opinion, is important to read (visualize) them in their written/poem form. You got a more complet sense of the lyrics and the song, plus you can apreciate all the nuances of the words and the song. Also it puts more meaning to the music, and you can even added more music to them.
In brief, you get (at least me) a more complete comprehension of the whole composition of the artist.
And really, these lyrics are ABSOLUTELY MOVING WHEN READ.
Of course, THE MUSIC IS THE MUST, BASIC , AND THE REAL THING, and I like the words within the songs, but must admit that when words are read once and again in the paper….wow…….. they are really STRONG ….you get a strong feeling of integrity, commitment as well as the need of getting committed with Wynton´s points of view and proposals for a better era to come within new generations….really MOVING!!!!!.
