    LIKE IT!
“You and Me” is beautifully revisited.
Any chance of getting the “Where Y´all At” lyrics? I can´t understand all the words.

The impassioned pleas conveyed in “Where Y’all At” speak volumes and give one much thought. Well done! As always, “You and Me” warms the soul with its subtle harmony. Thank you!

The take on rap is a form of constructive music criticism. Ironically I’ve just read about the sales of rap albums taking a “nosedive!” Finally! (March 1st report on Foxnews.com).

This new composition will spur people to question what’s been going on. Maybe we’ll get somewhere…G.

I especially enjoyed Carlos’ short solo on “You and Me”. Luigi, will there also be video of “Nightlife Highlife”?

In case you’re interested, the article I referenced above from Fox News, dated March 1, 2007, is entitled, “Sales of Rap Albums Take Stunning Nosedive.” To review, see

“Where Y’all At?” should be the clarion call to those of us angry and disgusted with the state of US politics today. This inspired, “in your face” anthem asks hard questions of the government’s completely inadequate response to hurricane Katrina, and to their preemptive, imperious, destructive approach to nearly everything they’ve touched. It’s high time to focus our anger and get directly involved.

    Hey America! Where y’all at?

I’d love to get these lyrics too! I can make out most of it, but it’d be nice to be able to read it at my own pace (and to actually make sure I’m getting the words right).

Let me know if they get published soon. Great video btw!

The Lyrics are printed in the CD notes. Powerful stuff that. I’m seriously thinking about using a vinyl cutter to make “Where Y’all At?” cut out inside the outline of a trumpet for my car.

This is great stuff. Could anyone but Wynton pull this off? The differences between this performance and the one on “From the Plantation to the Penitentiary” are interesting (different ensemble, some of the lyrics on the CD version are left out here). Are there more videos from these sessions at Abbey Road? Will this be released on a DVD? On a CD? Any additional information would be appreciated.
