On January 12 and 13, Country outlaw Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis come together on two evenings in The Allen Room to demonstrate soulfully why the blues should be our national anthem.

Wynton,
Congratulations on another milestone in the role you play in defining jazz as the common denominator for country, blues, rock and pop.
The concert with Willie Nelson on XM was outstanding…improvisition, humor, sound quality, arrangements, musicianship…and more importantly you and Willie really rocked with the band and played some incredibly expressive music in the ballads and slow blues.
Thanks to both of you and we look forward to the CD….soon??? We hope!
