Wynton’s explanation is so on point. The young lions established that sound in the early 80’s….Kenny Kirkland, Branford Marsalis, Jeff Watts, Charnett Moffett and Wynton playing together. That is the sound that resonates whenever I listen to Black Codes(from the Underground). You hear it, you feel it and you sense it. It definitely stays with you, whether you hear it live or in the privacy of your room.

it play softly after expanding the ZIP archive.
It’s a m4v file..so Quicktime 7 has to play it…

And this I would say is a killi´video.
IMHO, and of course with due respect, I consider that it shows interesting soloing and few of Wynton´s characteristics ways:
Chess to “fuel machine”; may be because of the challenging/competitive thing though not been a musical battle?.
Humbleness, in his aproaching and sharing stage with others musicians.
Listener, to others´s music.
And always….swinging rhythm.
