Wynton’s recent concerts reviewed on the web
As you know, Wynton played in Victoria and Seattle last week.
The Victoria concert has been reviewed by Times Colonist, the Seattle concert at Paramounth Theatre as been reviewed by Seattle Times.
Wynton, on Saturday Afeternoon (October 21) gave a masterclass and played with the Garfield High School Jazz Ensemble.

I was at the Orpheum on the 20th and saw Wynton and his quintet play. The show was entertaining and musically, it was incredible. It was the first time I’ve seen Wynton play live, and I was impressed. His sound was HUGE and beautiful. It was also cool being able to hang out with Wynton before and after the show - a trumpet student’s dream! (I actually jumped on the stage at the end of the show when the quintet was walking offstage! - Wynton invited me backstage and I couldn’t find any other way!) I hope to see Wynton again real soon.
