Wonderful pictures. I had the opportunity to attend the "Congo Square" concert last night in Clearwater, Fl and it was awesome. The music was spectacular and the Odadaa! drummers were amazing. Wynton gave good insight and information about each song. My favorite song was the composition titled "War". Both groups played entirely different songs at the same time and the only thing that held the rhythm together was a cow bell beat, but somehow it managed to sound really good. Everyone in the band was on top of their game. It was a memorable performance. Bravo Wynton and Mr. Addy.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful photos Debra. The energy that surrounded that day is so apparent in your photos. It must have been a memorable experience watching the performance and parade.

Hi there Jurzy Girl. Have to tell you that the energy will be with my for a long time. :) Don't know how to best store it inside of me so it's best to share and keep it going. I believe that's what Wynton and Yacub Addy had in mind when planning this day.

I didn't know that Luigi has a rep for being a cropping master. LOL.

PS - Are you really from NJ? I'm a 100% Jersey girl transplanted here to Louisiana last year. :)

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Debra for sending in these fabulous images, and Luigi for getting them up. These are a few of the great moments with Wynton during the parade that were missing from local media. Wow!!! I am still so thrilled about that day, and so fortunate to have experienced such an important and amazing event. Wynton revived the musical heartbeat of New Orleans....

Debra, do you have any more of the parade or the concert that you can share publicly?
