The eloquence in which Wynton Marsalis addressed the crowd served to provoke, inspire and act. His message clearly reminds us there is still much to be done and not to rely on others to take the lead in getting New Orleans rebuilt. Mr. Marsalis is well versed in the history of our nation and uses such history as a stimulus to move us to action at a time when reaction has been slow. Bravo!

A terrific speech; the students will go beyond their daily syllabus to becoming architects of a new city. An exciting time for this generation with opportunity for emerging leaders. Is this the dawn of a new day?
