We know he was due to fly into N O the day before the hurricane. We are trying to find out if he and his family are safe. Our respect and sympathy go out to all those affected. In the city of Americas truest music. I couldn't stop crying. Two events gave me hope yesterday. The first was on the news. Dr. Gupta was at Charity Hospital showing how patients from Tulane were evacuated while Charity still has their patients. Someone was bagging a patient who needed a ventilator. Someone has been doing that since the power failed. Hospital workers were singing hymns! Then I heard WYNTONS HORN! THANK YOU WYNTON! You don't know me. I already gave to the Salvation, Second Harvest, and the Red Cross got blood and money. I'm a regular nurse and music lover. Daughter of Graham Young, trumpet player, music teacher, and honest man.
