He played tunes from the Magic Hour exceptionally well! The sound was terrific (some of the bands were loud in the front where I sat) and he was looking very dapper in his grey suit and pink tie! It was hot as hell on Saturday but they gain full marks from me for dressing up!! I watched as the stage was being set for this performance and Wynton could not have been more gracious as he had his picture taken with Mr. Brubeck. Wynton sounded splendid on Take The A Train, but what was the highlight for me was the first song he played that sounded like Embraceable You. Does anyone know the exact title? Nonetheless, Wynton did not disappoint and has never sounded better. A wonderful performance.
