Played a nice standard along wit the Dave Brubeck quartet that was quite nice. I believe it was the second song Wynton guested in. I like to hear familiar melodies. Very cool man.

A wonderful performance. I watched as the stage was being set for this performance and Wynton could not have been more gracious as he had his picture taken with Mr. Brubeck. Wynton sounded splendid on Take The A Train, but what was the highlight for me was the first song he played that sounded like Embraceable You. Does anyone know the exact title? Nonetheless, Wynton did not disappoint and has never sounded better.

I saw Wynton on Saturday. He played tunes from the Magic Hour exceptionally well! The sound was terrific (some of the bands were loud in the front where I sat) and he was looking very dapper in his grey suit and pink tie! It was hot as hell on Saturday but they gain full marks from me for dressing up!!

Although not there on Sunday, I imagine his standard was Stardust, Embaraceable You or something from his new album; Just Friends or You Don’t Know What Love Is.

How was the weather on Sunday?

    Hi Me,

The weather on Sunday wasn’t as hot as on Saturday. It was mostly overcast on Sunday, almost a repeat of last year except the rain held out. Wynton played Embraceable You with the Dave Brubeck Quartet and looked as dapper as ever in a linen suit and tie.

All of you have been very fortunate to hear Wynton perform recently!!! I had to work and was unable to
attend. It is great reading your emails i felt i was there in some degree(smile). I love the way he plays Stardust and Embraceable You. He has so much emotion. And yes he sure knows how to dress!!
Looking forward in hearing them here in new York

    Thanks
