my son, matt is 16, and practices his saxophones, soprano to bari, has taught himself jazz piano, bass, clarinet, guitar,
and seems to really have the talent and musical bug. He could really use a better promoter or supporter than just his mom here. are there any special camps, or learning and performing events that he could audition into? Thank you for your time. matt's insufficient agent

2-14-05 'morning,
A few years ago I gave my older brother a copy of Winston Marsalis' video where he was teaching a group of young students (about 6-8 graders) about music, instruments, and so forth. The director was a Japanese man with lots of enthusiasm. Winston played with a small group. My brother enjoyed it so much. Unfortunately, he loaned it to someone, and it has been lost! My brother is in Hospice Care and has but a short time to live. He tells me often he would like to see that video again. I will gladly buy a copy for him if someone can tell me the name of the album and where I can purchase it. I have been unable to locate it. A young man plays a cornet solo on the album entitled "The Merchant of Venice." I'll appreciate any help you might give me. Please email me at cow99@comcast.net
Thanks, Bob Kirchner
