Part of a Drum Symposium produced in collaboration with the Center for Jazz Studies at Columbia University, which will feature lecture-demonstrations, and films. Friday & Saturday, May 2 & 3, 2003, 8 pm at Miller Theater, Columbia University.
On Saturday, May 3, 2003, from 10:30am to 5pm at Columbia University, Wynton will speak to a Symposium on the Drums in Jazz entitled: Cymbalism. Featuring Roy Haynes, Steve Berrios, Andrew Cyrille, Stanley Crouch and many others.
