Special Report: Wynton in Paris performing All Rise

On January the 9th, Wynton Marsalis with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, the National Orchestra of France directed by Kurt Masur and the Morgan State Choir from Baltimore, performed “All Rise” in Paris. We attended the concert and take you behind the scenes !

    That’s good to know, I don’t have these on my ipod. But I love those gritty Wycliff/Wynton riffs from “fan club beginnings”. It that what “In This House” sounded like back in May? That’s right church.

    And then there’s the Golden Bolden legend…

    Maxim and Careba,
    we’ll consider the possibility to upload them to youtube.

    We choosed to create them for the iTunes podcast and make completely downloadable at better resolution than youtube standard.

    Youtube is a chooice for people that don’t have a personal space for their video. And it’s a good thing.

    Anyway we’ll think about your advice…

    I am looking for videos with Winton Marsalis. in those videos, W M explains similitudes beetwen Jazz et Clssical musics.
    There ar two bands, one playing jazz, the other , philarmonic band, playing the same tune (the chief of the classical band was a chinese guy.
    I saw them, long time ago on french tél, MEZZO!
    If you can help me…!!!
